Matthew and I sit at Starbucks for a break on the route to New York city. The last 24 hours have been rather uneventful and almost boring in light of the last 5 days. Yesterday included a stop at Plymouth Rock which was closed. Yes thats right - a 5 foot by 6 foot rock on the ocean shore was...CLOSED. The rock is covered by a portico that was under construction, and therefore the rock was covered for protection.
We then traveled out to the end of Cape Cod. We visited a lighthouse and walked the streets of Provincetown, MA.
Last night we camped for the last time on the trip, at Shawme Crowell State Park. We biked around the campsite a little and came across a couple of "YURTS." (until seeing, we weren't sure what they were on the map).
Other than, we are watching gas prices rise to $4.25 here in Connecticut and looking forward to visiting the sites in NY tomorrow!
