The final attraction on our visit was Washington DC. You've seen the pictures on postcards and the news so I thought Id post a different taste of DC - the national government takes care of problems just like your local city government. When a branch falls out of a tree, why take the branch away when you can just set up some safety cones around it. Pictured is the branch that probably weighed less than 100 lbs. surrounded by orange cones. In the distance is the "reflecting pond" that runs between the Washington and Lincoln monuments.
